Liberty Property Enters Inland Port Chicago Market

Liberty Property Trust gained first inland port access by buying 1.2 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space adjacent to BNSF Logistics Park-Chicago for $60 million.

Liberty Property Trust, an owner and manager of office, flex and industrial space, said the purchase of the two buildings in Elwood, Ill., from Mirvac expands its portfolio to more than 6.3 million square feet of industrial space in the Chicago area.
