Clinton told the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition action by lawmakers on the trade pacts “is critical to our economic recovery.”

Implementing the agreements could create tens of thousands of U.S. jobs, she said. But Clinton also said the accords have strategic value, both because the partner nations are in important areas and because other nations are “watching to see whether America will deliver for our friends and allies.”
